Isla Jesusita is an island just offshore Playa Paquera where the ferry lands from Puntarenas just inside the entrance to the Gulf of Nicoya. It is surrounded by calm waters year round and is ideal for a tourist development already having an approved concession for development. There have been some half-hearted attempts at building tourist lodging in the distant past, but it still remains mostly untouched. There is electricity and phone service available.
